What Makes This Special ᥫ᭡
Fire opal and abalone, on the same band. Two inlays that do opposite things — created fire opal burning orange and red, abalone shell shifting cool through teal and violet. Together on a silver tungsten band they cover the whole spectrum, which is why this one photographs better than almost anything else in the range.
Why This Ring:
- Created Fire Opal: Warm orange and red with real depth to it. Fire opal is the least common opal colour and the reason this ring reads as unusual rather than just colourful.
- Abalone Shell Alongside: Natural shell running against the opal, cool where the opal is warm. The contrast between the two is the whole design.
- Silver Tungsten Frame: Bright metal either side, which keeps two busy inlays from bleeding into each other and gives the eye somewhere to rest.
