Every Order Helps Protect Wildlife

Together with your purchase, we support Akashinga — a powerful wildlife initiative protecting endangered species across Africa.

At Just Promise Rings, we believe beautiful jewellery can create beautiful change. That's why we donate $5 AUD from our profits on every qualifying sale to Akashinga, a conservation initiative making a real impact.

Akashinga is a pioneering conservation program that trains and supports all-women ranger teams to protect some of Africa’s most endangered wildlife. Since 2017, their work has helped safeguard elephants, rhinos, pangolins, and more — restoring ecosystems and empowering communities along the way.

While Akashinga is a registered Australian charity (ABN: 57 142 987 782), it is not a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). This means donations made from our profits are not tax-deductible for customers or for our business.

You can verify Akashinga’s registration on the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC):

How It Works

Just Promise Rings donates $5 AUD from our profits for every qualifying product sold. Donations are made by our registered business, Alpine Leopard, which owns and operates the Just Promise Rings brand. We maintain records of each donation and include the receipts in our official ATO business documentation.

Why This Matters

Every day, 100 African elephants are killed for their ivory. Without action, these majestic animals could disappear forever (World Elephant Day).

Rhinos are also in crisis — 1.6 are poached each day across Africa (Al Jazeera).

Elephant and baby in the wild - conservation

Akashinga’s all-women ranger teams have reduced elephant poaching by 90% and increased wildlife encounters by 400% in their patrol areas (Akashinga.org). They’ve protected over 1.3 million acres of wilderness, safeguarded endangered species, and improved livelihoods for women and local communities — transforming both ecosystems and lives.
